The tobacco standard

What the law of Uzbekistan requires of cigarettes and heated tobacco products: numeric limits, the acts in force and their status. A limit and a measurement are different quantities: our numbers come from the 3R4F reference cigarette and the THS product, not from goods on the Uzbek market, and must not be read as a direct comparison.

The Uzbek norm

For tobacco Uzbekistan does have a norm, and it carries numbers: Law ZRU-844 caps nicotine and carbon monoxide, and the 2024 technical regulation remains in force. The limits are shown next to the measurements; they must not be read as a direct comparison — our numbers come from the 3R4F reference cigarette and the THS product, not from goods on the Uzbek market.

A limit and a measurement are different quantities. The platform places them side by side and draws no conclusion: our numbers come from a reference sample, not from goods produced in Uzbekistan.

The section is limited to one country and one product group for now — this is an experiment. For food pairs Uzbekistan currently has no composition standard: the general technical regulations were repealed by Cabinet of Ministers decree No. 553 of 02.09.2025, and a section whose only line is “there is no standard” would serve no one.
